Sarah Bernhardt - La Divine - Written & Performed by Candace O'Donnell | Sarah Bernhardt survived the siege of Paris, an amputation, vicious anti-Semitism, and many tempestuous love affairs to become the toast of Europe and indeed the world. In 1921 she wowed audiences at the Fulton Opera House in her iconic role, “Camille,” entering down the center aisle on one leg. Audience Perspectives: Doors open at 6:30 pm for a free, 20-minute Audience Perspective talk beginning at 6:45pm or when the room reaches capacity. The talk is given by Victor Capecce, Associate Professor of Communication and Theater at Millersville University. Seating is limited to the capacity of the room and not guaranteed.
