Discover the often overlooked world under (and inside) fallen trees. Naturalist Erin Freeman will guide you on a hike in search of the slimy salamanders, fabulous fungi, and interesting insects that can be found living under logs in Central Park. Learn about the incredible natural history of these organisms and how they contribute to the entire forest ecosystem. Come explore the forest floor! This program begins at 11:00 AM. For all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. Call (717) 295-2055 to register by noon on Friday, May 5. $3.00 per person.
