Warm up from the cold and daydream about a sunny day on the beach with Naturalist Emily Broich as we learn about the basic chemistry of seawater. We will explore through a simple experiment what sea shells have to do with increased carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. Based on our findings and in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we will discuss ways we can show our oceans some love. Call (717) 295-2055 to register and pay by noon on Friday, February 9.
