A Romantic Couples Getaway

Enjoy a weekend away from your crazy lives, leaving time to reconnect and recharge. From a romantic hot air balloon ride over the farmland to relaxing on the Susquehanna River together, indulge in a favorite hobby you share or even try something new!

Morning

Your romantic weekend away can start before dawn if you want to experience Lancaster County from a mile above the farmland. Rise before the sun and head to meet the US Hot Air Balloon Team for a flight to remember. A hot air balloon ride gives you a bird's eye view as you drift with the wind. Enjoy some quiet time with your sweetheart as you take in the sights.

After you land, grab breakfast at nearby Bird-in-Hand Bakery and Cafe. A build-your-own breakfast sandwich, donut, pasteries, or bagel will satisfy the hunger built up during your morning adventure.

If you prefer to sleep a little later and start the morning a little slower, find the perfect spot for brunch with our Brunch Guide, then ease into the day. Once your tummy is filled, stroll around one of Downtown Lancaster's independent used and new book shops, DogStar Book & Gallery and The Rabbit & The Dragonfly

As you spend quality time together, you'll also experience the beauty, culture and tastes of Lancaster County.
