There are lots of things to do this weekend in Lancaster, PA for your family. If you’re curious about whether or not lodging properties are open, or safe to visit; we want you to know that our local attractions, restaurants, shops and lodging properties have all been working around the clock to ensure that their properties are a safe getaway for you.

Small Towns

The Wilbur Lititz Tapestry by Hilton has implemented the Hilton Cleanstay program which is designed to elevate cleaning standards and offer a sanitized environment for guests. Once guest rooms are cleaned, they are sealed to indicate that the room has not been accessed since it was sanitized. The Wilbur also offers contactless check-in and check-out with a digital key.

If you’re attending a sporting event in the area, it makes sense to stay the night at the largest sports complex in North America! The Warehouse Hotel at Spooky Nook Sports, is ready to safely welcome guests to their property. In addition to hotel lobby and public space safety protocols, The Warehouse Hotel has dialed in on guest room safety. Extra pillows, linens, towels, and amenities have been removed from guest rooms to reduce opportunity for contamination. All supplies are readily available upon guest request.

Amish Country

Best Western Plus Intercourse Village Inn & Suites has implemented the We Care Clean program that addresses everything from guest room cleanliness to minimized contact between guests and associates. Social distancing and heightened cleaning frequency will take place in the lobby and other high traffic areas around the inn and suites.

Bird-in-Hand Family Inn staff is required to wear masks at all times to ensure the safety of themselves and others. Guests are encouraged to do the same. Although the arcade and fitness room remain closed, all other amenities are available, including three swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, playground and so much more!

Downtown Lancaster

Lancaster Arts Hotel, a member of the PA Register of Historic Places, is committed to keeping their guests and staff safe. The hotel is still offering breakfast to guests, the room capacity is set at 25% and all food items are individually wrapped. Masks are required in all public places including the breakfast room, except when a guest is eating.

Holiday Inn Lancaster has expanded the IHG Way of Clean with best practices that will combat the spread of COVID-19. The Holiday Inn Lancaster is has reduced contact at check-in and check-out with touchless transactions and front desk screen barriers.

Bed & Breakfasts

Lancaster Ridge Bed & Breakfast has been working to comply with CDC guidelines and safely welcome back guests. The pool and hot tub are now open! Both will be treated and disinfected regularly. Each room will be offered a designated poolside table to promote social distancing. Staff will clean and disinfect common areas around the pool throughout the day.

The 1777 Americana Inn Bed & Breakfast heightened their awareness to safety and cleanliness in order to welcome back guests. Each room is cleaned prior to guest’s arrival and rooms are stocked with disinfecting wipes. Enjoy a plated breakfast to replace the former buffet style offering. Guests are welcome to eat breakfast during their scheduled time slot or take a service tray back to their room.

Campgrounds

Old Mill Stream Campground, located adjacent to Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park, has re-opened and is accepting bookings for Full Hook Up Sites and Cabins. Guests are encouraged to pay online before arriving to ensure contactless check-in. Guests are required to comply with safely guidelines on the Campground’s website which include wearing face coverings and undergoing a temperature check upon arrival.

Starlight Camping Resort offers socially distant and private campsites. Their pool is open with the understanding that guests will bring their own chairs and maintain a safe social distance from other parties. Some of the Campground’s activities are still scheduled for September and October with modifications to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
