Miche`le Colburn is one of the artists in the exhibition "50 Years: A Celebration of F&M’s Alumnae Artists" that recognizes F&M's 50th anniversary of co-education. Colburn started her work "The Trip Wire Project" in 2014 as a way to document and put in visual and aesthetic terms the casualties of war since the United States entered into the Middle East conflicts. She created the work out of Vietnam-era trip wire and continues to knit, often in public places. She will be visiting the Rothman Gallery four times while her work "The Trip Wire Project" is at the Phillips Museum of Art. Please stop by to see her continue updating her work and to hear more about her process.
