We think paper, glue and wine make a great pairing. Why not do a little crafting and enjoy a glass with your friends or family in downtown Manheim?

Horst Arts Center is collaborating with Glasshouse Wineworks for a special “Decoupage Cafe” workshop on Thursday, July 24th at 7 pm. Each guest will receive a glass of wine with their ticket purchase. Glasshouse Wineworks will be on location for you to purchase any additional refreshments that evening. Enjoy a local taste with us as we host this wonderful winery right in the heart of Manheim.

Decoupage is the art or craft of decorating objects with paper cut-outs. You will use glue and a brush to cover items with beautiful scraps of paper. It’s a way to beautiful everyday objects from jewelry to trinkets to functional items. Our menu will provide you with a variety of options to choose from—from earrings and necklace pendants to clay pots and coasters. We then supply you with tools and a plethora of materials to decoupage your items of choice. You’re welcome to bring papers of your own that are meaningful to you. Only keep in mind that thin papers work best.
