Foundations of Creative Writing Workshop

This foundational creative writing course offered at the Center for Creative Exploration at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design will familiarize and empower you in your writing craft. Led by author and instrucor Josh Keller, you will utilize the tools of the author’s trade to brainstorm, draft, and analyze a piece of prose or poetry based on core techniques. We will practice reading for quality, then learn through brief lecture on what terms your sense of quality rests. We will then draft a piece to review analytically. Students will walk away with a complete poem or flash prose piece.
