Lunch with the Landis Brothers at Landis Valley
This event has expired and is here for your information.
The Landis Brothers were quite extraordinary... even for their time. That is why they began the Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum and why they worked hard to preserve glimpses into the innovative and pioneering past of the southeastern Pennsylvania German immigrants community of the late 1700s through the 1800s. For this luncheon event, you get to meet and talk with two of our re-enactors playing the roles of Henry K and George Diller Landis, the two somewhat eccentric founders of our museum who also lived in the central house on the property directly across from the Hotel. The "brothers" will share their history as well as sometimes wild stories of their escapades and adventures. Be prepared for some great entertainment, as well as a wonderful lunch, followed by a special tour of at least one of the rarely opened buildings on the property. It will certainly be an afternoon of both fun and education.Seating is limited, so be sure to get your tickets early.
