Madcap Sunday Night at the Movies

It’s never a dull moment for the Griswolds at any time of the year – and even more so at the holidays. The wild family dynamics and stress of this time of year finds Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, and Randy Quaid ringing in the holidays – and nearly the necks of their relatives – in “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” for the year’s final “Madcap Sunday Night at the Movies” at 7 pm Sunday, Nov. 30. The 1989 American holiday slapstick comedy is the perfect way to end a day of shopping and sightseeing in Downtown Lancaster starting with Madcap & Co. (310 N. Queen St.), where you can receive a half-off drink ticket for the 7 pm showing at Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse (112 N. Water St.). And treat yourself by arriving early enough to grab some delicious food and drinks before showtime. For each ticket purchased, get free popcorn and a $5 wooden nickel for Decades Amusement & Fare (438 N. Queen St.) game play where you can end your night with games, drinks, and food, until 11pm. (Decades is 21+ after 8:30 pm.)
