The Telegraph Quartet, formed in 2013, is celebrated for its passionate interpretations of both standard chamber music and contemporary works. Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as “an incredibly valuable addition to the cultural landscape,” the ensemble has earned prestigious accolades, including the 2016 Walter W. Naumburg Chamber Music Award and the Grand Prize at the 2014 Fischoff Competition. The Quartet has performed at renowned venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the San Francisco Conservatory, as well as at prestigious festivals including Chautauqua, Interlochen, and Kneisel Hall.
Known for championing 20th- and 21st-century repertoire, the Telegraph Quartet has premiered significant works by John Harbison, Richard Festinger, Robert Sirota, and Osvaldo Golijov.
Currently Quartet-in-Residence at the University of Michigan, the Telegraph Quartet continues to captivate audiences with their depth, versatility, and dedication to exploring the rich tapestry of chamber music.
