After Eight Bed & Breakfast

1818 colonial home bed and breakfast has 8 bedrooms with en-suite baths in historic house. We also have two 2 bedroom cottages with full kitchens in our annex building, only a few steps away from the main house. Each room has cable TV, telephones, WI-FI Internet connection, hairdryers, individual room temperature control, and closets. Tiffany style lights and antiques adorn each room. The Deluxe Suite has a two-person whirlpool tub and the Candlelight Room has provision for lighting romantic candles in the fireplace and a single person Jacuzzi tub.

Enjoy the common areas of the main house that include the Parlor with guest internet computer, sitting areas for reading and relaxing and a TV for guests to share. Living room has more comfortable seating, our seasonal tree and a large game table where guest have enjoyed a group effort in completing our jigsaw puzzles. Each morning guests are invited to join us for breakfast where a full hot breakfast is served including sweet, savory and fruit items along with a breakfast meat. Hot coffee, teas and juices accompany each breakfast. Snacks, cold beverages, goodies and homemade treats are available for guest to enjoy at their leisure.

The After Eight Bed and Breakfast property adjoins an Amish-owned farm. Stroll around the grounds where you will find a gazebo, flower gardens, and fountains. Don't forget to enjoy the blooming of the Evening Primrose each evening all summer long, and you might catch a peek at the hummingbird moth.

We have first floor rooms available. We are a non-smoking bed and breakfast, but we do allow guests to smoke on the covered porch area. Children 12 and over are welcome in the historic house, children under 12 are welcome to stay with their parents in the cottages. We are not able to accommodate guests with pets.
