Jo Davis Art
Jo Davis is a visual artist and creative facilitator with a working art studio located in downtown Lancaster. Her intuitive approach to art-making prioritizes process over product, embracing experimentation and discovery. Collectors and those interested in booking private workshops are encouraged to reach out directly, whether you're looking to bring a piece home or gather your favorite people for a creative experience you won't forget.
Jo earned a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and over 25 years as a working artist have shaped her practice through continuous exploration of methods and materials. All along, painting remains a throughline. Drawing on art therapy and mindfulness, she leads private workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions for corporate groups, nonprofits, and individuals looking to reconnect with their creativity.
Beyond Pennsylvania, Jo has exhibited in galleries in New York City, San Francisco, and Panama City. Her work was featured on the cover of McSweeney's Quarterly Concern, Issue 16, and she was a finalist for the El Prisma de la Vida design competition at the Biomuseo in Panama City, Panama. She recently completed an artist residency at EyStudio! Madrid.
