Join us at the Ware Center for a free screening of the film Disposable Humanity—plus a community discussion panel and a Q&A with the filmmakers. The Mitchell family—esteemed Disability Studies scholars and filmmakers—delve into the chilling legacy of the Nazi Aktion T4 program. This investigative documentary recounts the long-obscured history of how over 300,000 disabled individuals became the initial victims of the Third Reich. Targeted by the T4 program as having a “life unworthy of living,” their murders laid the groundwork for the Holocaust that followed.
6:15 PM • Pre-show community panel discussion
Post-show • Q&A with director Cameron S. Mitchell
Co-presented by the MU Disability Film Festival and Congregation Shaarai Shomayim.
