Midst of Faith

“The Midst of Faith” depicts the journey of educator Hazel Jackson, from the one-room segregated schoolhouses of the South where she learned as a child and later taught as a teacher to her groundbreaking hiring as a teacher in a northern school district and professor at a predominantly white college. The story is drawn from the late Ms. Jackson’s own autobiographical musings and secondhand accounts from her daughter and granddaughter.
