Watch master craftsmen handcrafting custom solid hardwood furniture. At George's, you’ll be transported to a different world where furniture is made by hand. Skilled craftsmen take a solid piece of cherry, oak, maple or walnut and carve it into furniture that is a functional work of art for your home. Each piece created is one-of-a kind, signed and dated by the artisan. Enjoy watching handmade furniture being built, and shop in our showroom.

Showroom hours Mon-Sat 9am–5pm.
Our tour begins in our showroom where we learn about the 50+ year history of Georges furniture, from hobby to business, what makes George's different from other furniture stores, and the amazing ability of our extension tables. (Tables start at 5 ft and extend to 12+ feet with ease.) then proceed to our wood working shop where the craftsmen select the wood looking at the grain, using basic saws, jointers, sanders and planers. Next, we see the furniture be stained and protected with a water-resistant finish. Finally we see our showroom with our 21-foot dining table and our bedroom furniture.
After our wood shop tour, people look at furniture a whole new way.
It is very informative and impactful.
