Did you know that not all bees live in a hive and that not all bees make honey? Unlike their European honeybee cousins, many of our native bee species are solitary nesters who use small holes to lay their eggs. Even though they don’t make honey, they play an important role as pollinators. Join Naturalist Emily Broich to create your very own “Bee Hotel” that can serve as an inviting nesting habitat for native pollinators in your garden! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Call (717) 295-2055 to register by noon on Wednesday, June 7. Ages 10 and up
