The Race Avenue Criterium has a long history dating back to the 1980's as a local, amateur bike race. We had the privilege of hosting the U.S. National Criterium Championships in 1985, which drew the best bike racers in the country to Lancaster. In 1994, we hosted the Women's French National Team. The race course is a one mile circuit on the West End of Lancaster City. Multiple events run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17th. We are grateful for our sponsors for their continued support: Audi Lancaster, Lancaster Velo Bike Shop and Thru-It-All Body Shop. Proceeds from the race benefits Full Circle Susquehanna, Inc. Sense of Wonder Camp. The Fridge will also be on-site with their Pizza Oven Truck serving up gourmet personal pizzas from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
