Economic Development Company of Lancaster County

The Economic Development Company of Lancaster County (EDC) was founded in 1960 making it the oldest economic development organization in Lancaster County, PA.

EDC is a private not-for-profit economic development organization serving businesses within the County, as well as those wishing to relocate here.

EDC and its sister organization, EDC Finance Corporation, assist large and small community, business and agricultural development projects with business resources and possible financing assistance.

Certified as an Industrial Development Corporation and Area Loan Organization by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, EDC and EDC Finance provide access to federal, state and local business and agricultural funding including loans, grants, tax credits and tax abatements.
