Hammond Pretzel Bakery, Inc.

Since 1931 we have been making pretzels the old-fashioned way, by hand! Our sourdough recipe dates back five generations in our family to the late 1800s. We use only the highest quality ingredients and we limit production to ensure a great product every time. At Hammond’s, our focus is on quality, history, and tradition. The artisan craft of hand-rolling and hand-twisting each and every pretzel takes much longer than stamping out pretzel shapes with a machine. However, the gentle treatment of dough combined with our sourdough recipe results in the most delicious hard pretzel you will ever taste.

Our bakery store is open from 7am to 5pm Monday-Friday and 8am to 12pm Saturday. We do not offer tours of our bakery. However, you can view the pretzel twisting through windows from the outside of our building and see pretzels rolling out of the oven between 9am and 3:30pm Monday-Friday. In addition to fresh warm pretzels, we also offer Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Seasoned Pretzel Pieces, Dipping Mustard, and other local snack items.
