Jo Davis Art
Jo Davis is a visual artist whose work is rooted in intuition, experimentation, and a deep connection between art and everyday life. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in New York City, San Francisco, and Panama City, and her work has been featured on the cover of McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern.
Painting is central to her practice, shaping how she thinks, works, and moves through the world. Her work explores creativity as a way of paying attention, reflecting, and staying connected—to ourselves, to each other, and to the world around us.
In addition to her studio practice, Jo hosts Creative Release, a free, open studio designed to help people connect through art in a relaxed, welcoming environment. The focus is on making friends and making art—no experience necessary.
She also works on community-based creative projects that bring people together through shared experiences.
