As an active part of the community, the Mount Joy Area Chamber of Commerce (MJCOC) hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the Mount Joy Minnie Groundhog Day Event (February 2), Music in Memorial Park (July and August), Spooktacular (Fourth Friday in October), and Visits with Santa (December).
