Join us for “Bringing Science to Life with Kate the Chemist” presented by Dr. Kate Biberdorf, chemist, science entertainer, and professor.

As the first Professor for the Public Understanding of Science at Notre Dame, Dr. Biberdorf uses fire and explosions to highlight and amplify the groundbreaking science happening on campus. Her theatrical and hands-on approach to teaching makes science fun, accessible, and unforgettable. Audiences are inspired to see science in everything around them through her high-energy style and hands-on demonstrations.

Dr. Biberdorf is the author of the bestseller The Big Book of Experiments, The Awesome Book of Edible Experiments for Kids, the fiction series Kate the Chemist, and the nonfiction book It's Elemental: The Hidden Chemistry in Everything.
