A Journey Into History: Lincoln Funeral Train Commemoration

Take a step back in history to April 1865 as we commemorate 161 years since the Lincoln Funeral Train crossed Stone Gables Estate! Witness and participate in this one-of-a-kind living history event!

Ride aboard our newly expanded train tracks on a narrated and period-correct passenger car replicas on the Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad. Walk through the world’s only full-scale replica of President Lincoln’s Funeral Car, “United States.”

Visit a Civil War Encampment and learn what life was like for Civil War soldiers and civilians from presenters, reenactors, and historians.

Enter at Brittany's Hope: 1160 North Market Street, Elizabethtown PA 17022. (Please type the physical address listed above into your GPS.)

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before your train departure time.

Once you arrive watch for signage to direct you to park. Walk to the train platform. Please check in with the Guest Services Attendant giving the first and last name of the person who booked the tickets.
