Susquehanna National Heritage Area staff guide passengers on a 1-hour tour of the river, sharing the colorful story of the night that flames stretched across the Susquehanna as the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge burned on June 28, 1863.

Come aboard for a boat tour experience you will never forget as SNHA guides you up river to view the stone piers that once held the world's longest wooden covered bridge.

Tours depart from the Zimmerman Center for Heritage Thursday June 20 - Sunday June 23 and Riverfest weekend Thursday June 27 - Sunday June 30. Due to tour popularity, advance reservations are recommended. Visit to view tour schedule and purchase tickets.
