Conestoga Area Historical Society Spring Opening

The Conestoga Area Historic Society will celebrate the opening of the 2023 season with its Second Annual Spring Fling on April 15, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will feature face-painting, egg-painting, a balloon artist, an Easter egg hunt, and so much more! The society’s authentic Conestoga Wagon will be on display, and craftspersons will demonstrate such skills as broom-making, tin-smithing, black-smithing, cloth-weaving, and pottery-making. Also included will be building tours and other activities amid 25 vendors of historical merchandise, and 5 food trucks.

Artifacts in the Atkinson Log House, the Harnish Stone House, and the Graver Tobacco Barn may be viewed, and the Museum Gift Shoppe will be open from 1:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season, ending on December 10.
