Community volunteers and students from Millersville University invite the public to join them for the Community Clean up and Grand re-Opening of Shreiner-Concord Cemetery, closed since earlier this year due to the pandemic. Gathering from 9 AM until noon. Brings masks, gloves and favorite tools to help maintain this site, an abandoned property listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Congressman Stevens buried here in 1868 because other cemeteries in Lancaster denied burials for Black persons.
