Junk Journal workshop

Event Details

Mar 22

Create a junk journal in a fun, bright studio, using a vast array of supplies, tools, materials, scraps, and embellishments.

How does junk journaling work? We supply the materials you’ll need to create your journal covers and interior pages. Some folks will do this in a very neat and measured way. Others will enjoy crazy configurations. Either way, your journal will contain special pockets, decorative papers, envelopes, buttons, tape, and stickers—in addition to leaving room to record your thoughts and dreams. What will you use the journal for? That’s up to you. The possibilities are endless: recipes, travel log, diary, etc. Pick a theme that’s important to you!

Please purchase a ticket before attending the event via the website or calling 717-419-4025.

Please note: this event is for adults. However children 8 years of age and older are welcome to participate along with a parent or an adult guardian. The child will need a ticket of their own.

Say It With Paper is your chance to experiment with the paper arts. After some instruction, you’ll create your image by gluing scraps of paper onto a 9″ x 12″ wooden canvas. You will then use white paint to apply a customized stencil on top of the magazine. By the end of the event, you will have a colorful piece ready to hang on your wall. If you have a large group that is interested in participating in this event together, please consider contacting Horst Arts directly via info@horstarts.com to schedule an event for just your group.
