Organ Concert - Lancaster Summer Arts Festival

As a part of the Lancaster Summer Arts Festival, the American Guild of Organists will host a recital at the First United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 8, at 7:00 PM. The substantial 1959 Moller organ will come alive at the hands and feet of local organists including Deborah Berdos, Joy Ide, Margaret Marsch, Frank Dodd, Tyler Velkley, Christopher Prestia, Ross Ellison, and host organist Peter Omundsen. They will play the works of Edward Elgar, Lynn Trapp, J.S. Bach, César Franck, Maurice Duruflé, Max Reger, and more! A father-daughter duet will also be performed by Drs. Karl and Cindy Moyer on organ and violin. First United Methodist is located at 29 East Walnut Street, Lancaster. Parking can be found in the lot between the church and Lemon Street. A freewill offering will be taken to support the Guild’s scholarship funds.
