Good food has been a tradition with the Smucker family since our great-grandparents first moved to Bird-in-Hand at the turn of the century. Comfortably nestled amidst beautiful Amish farmland along Route 340, the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord is still privately owned and operated by our family. For 40 years, our family and staff have worked hard to ensure a time-honored philosophy of providing quality and service that exceed our guests' expectations.

Group and banquet facilities - The restaurant's banquet facilities accommodate up to 300 guests in a comfortable, spacious area. Groups can also enjoy our Smucker Room, a specially designated area that allows your group to be seated together while enjoying our dining room's Grand Smorgasbord, and magnificent views. A special entrance allows both convenience and handicapped accessibility. Group tours, family reunions, meetings, church groups and students have made our festaurant and family inn their second home. We look forward to serving you!
