Mennonite Life Visitors Center
The Mennonite Life Visitors Center offers information and insight on the life and beliefs of the Amish and Mennonites. Hours are Friday and Saturday from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. A movie and exhibit are provided on-site, free of charge. Staff persons are available to answer questions, and guide visitors through the area. The Center features maps, brochures, and other information of the area, as well as books and the unique Ten Thousand Villages gifts.
The Mennonite Life Visitors Center also houses a Biblical Tabernacle Reproduction, a full-size model of Moses' Tabernacle in the Wilderness. Guided presentations will be offered at 10am, 12pm and 2pm (capacity 20 visitors). Multimedia tour describes the history, construction and spiritual significance of this symbolic dwelling place of God.
