Experience a Lancaster County tradition firsthand at Old Windmill Farm, an authentic working Amish farm in Ronks, PA.
During this hands-on experience, you’ll learn how to churn fresh cream into butter using a tradition that has been passed down through generations of the family. The cream comes from the farm’s own cows, giving you a closer look at the connection between farming, food and everyday Amish life in Lancaster County.
Once the butter is finished, enjoy a taste with crackers and lemonade before taking home a half-pound of freshly churned butter per person. It’s a simple, memorable way for families, couples and curious travelers to experience Amish Country beyond the roadside views.
