Featured Events

The Lancaster International Piano & Chamber Music Festival is more than just a concert event. Attendees are welcome to attend lecture talks by professional musicians as well as master classes on varying topics. Sit in on improvisations, educational talks, and watch some of the greatest performances in Lancaster County.

Masterclasses

Learn techniques, skills, and tips on performing solo and with an ensemble from musicians. Featured educators include pianist and composer Asiya Korepanov, Hard Rain Soloist Ensemble’s own Daniel Browell, the award-winning American String Quartet, and more!

Improvisations

Experience improvised music, created and performed for the first time on the stages of F&M’s musical arts center. 2026’s improvisers are Professor and Fellow James Jin and Psychopomp Ensemble co-founder, Chi-Wei Lo.

Lectures

Be a student of some of the best local performers and educators. Sit in on Author and Associate Dean of Doctoral Studies, Jeffery Langford’s lecture on "Beethoven Late Piano Sonatas” or arrive early to the concerts to catch a pre-concert lecture from Chi-Wei Lo.

Concerts

Every day of the festival (except July 21) will feature a concert. Join the audience of professional musicians at recitals, LIPF finalists compete and play alongside the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, or attend themed musical performances.
