Getting to Know Lancaster

Getting to Know Lancaster's Gallery Row

Along Prince Street in Downtown Lancaster, Gallery Row is the community center for vibrant and fine artistry. Artists have set up shop to create and sell beautiful works that reflect the colors and passion of the area, often taking inspiration from the world around them. Some galleries feature the works of one artist, while others are a collaboration of exhibits from a collection of regional and local artists. Mediums also vary from gallery-to-gallery, making a walk down gallery row an exciting experience for both art-appreciators and art experts.

First Friday (held on the first Friday of every month) and seasonal ArtWalks are special times to experience Gallery Row, as many extend their hours and host special activities and live music to add an extra element of fun. As you walk around Gallery Row, you’ll experience the tight-knit community and passion, along with the spectacular art that’s being created daily.
