While you’re at the Cartoon Network Hotel, swing by the Bearista Café for a made-to-order pick me up to start your day of adventure!

Head right next door to keep the good times going at Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park. With over 35 rides, attractions, and shows designed for families, it is truly a kingdom for kids. Cool off in Duke’s Lagoon water play area and make discoveries at Exploration Island. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Dutch Wonderland. Also – kids under the age of two are free!

Strasburg Rail Road

Share a piece of history with your kids at the Strasburg Rail Road. America’s oldest operating railroad is right here in Lancaster County and ready to welcome your family aboard. Take a scenic 45-minute ride through the beautiful Lancaster County countryside. They have a variety of train cars to take so check out their website and find the right car for your trip. Back at the station there fun activities for kiddos like the gift shop, Pint-sized pufferbelly, and Cranky cars. Grab a bite to eat and watch the trains roll into the station at Café 1832, located right on the rail road grounds.

After your historic trip on one of America's oldest operating railroad, head over to Lapp's Toys to explore the vast amount of wooden toys, handcrafted by local Amish craftsmen. Kids of all ages are sure to love this space.

Its hard to find a place that would entertain a 2 year and 4 year old's. This show did just that but also entertained us the parents and my 10 year old.

Magic & Wonder Theatre

Finish your day of adventure with an exciting show at Magic & Wonder Theatre. Their family-friendly show offers something for everyone. The beautiful costumes, witty script, and jaw-dropping illusions will make adults and children alike excited and amazed. Illusionist Brett Myers recently was honored with the Merlin Award – a prestigious magician honor. This recognition is a testament to the quality of experience guests can expect at Magic & Wonder.
