The York Fair, "America's First Fair®" is an annual Fair held in September, beginning the first Friday after Labor Day in York, PA. Check out all the livestock in the Utz Arena, enjoy the annual butter sculpture, live music, Hot Dog Racing Pigs (and Dachshunds, too!) and more.
Enjoy free entertainment, contests, rides, animal exhibits, fruit & vegetables displays, commercial exhibits and craft exhibits. Admission is free. Parking charges benefit the local Fire Company and Boy Scout Troop, and Church.
Every September in the Southern Lancaster County you will find FFA and 4-H members grooming their animals for show; proud cooks in their kitchen baking treats for the judges to sample; farmers and gardeners choosing their produce for competition; young children participating in the parades; and an overall enthusiastic and excited attitude in the citizens of the Solanco area.
Started in 1919, the Ephrata Fair is the largest street fair in Pennsylvania! It's a time for folks to reacquaint with old friends, indulge in their favorite fair foods, browse the many exhibits and enjoy the variety of concessions, games, and rides.
West Lampeter Community Fair
This three-day event provide friendly competition among neighbors and a wholesome, educational atmosphere for all ages. Farmers and small gardeners can compare their produce at one central location. Children can learn to appreciate quality food products and farm animals. The youth program is especially designed to encourage both boys and girls to exhibit in all categories of baking, canning, cooking, art, sewing, fruits, vegetables, plants and animals. Meet the locals, taste the food and enjoy the wholesome entertainment.
New Holland Farmer's Fair
Every year the streets of New Holland close to traffic and the center of town transforms into a celebration of farm and community. The crisp autumn air is sweetened with funnel cake, hot cinnamon rolls, and cotton candy. Laughter rings out and dazzling lights shine on the midway filled with thrilling rides and games of chance. The four day event kicks off with the Spectacle of Bands Parade when excitement and attendance is at its peak. There is something for everyone throughout the week. The New Holland Farmer's Fair, known to many as "Farm Show," has been around for over 75 years.
Manheim Community Farm Show
The Manheim Community Farm Show exists to promote agriculture, crafts and competition in a friendly environment that encourages family values and cooperation. Enjoy free admission and free registration to all exhibits. As you visit the Farm Show, support the food stands, which are operated by nonprofit organizations in our community.
Lanchester Harvest Festival and Car Show
Enjoy Native American drumming and dancing, vendors, food, kids activities, jack-o-lantern contest, art contest, poetry contest, raffles and more! This event benefits Vietnam Veterans.
Annual Harvest Days
Landis Valley Village and Farm Musem hosts Harvest Days which is a culmination of a year's worth of hard work with demonstrations, crafts, wagon rides, and food to immerse yourself in Pennsylvania German traditions.
