Lancaster Medical Heritage Museum

The Lancaster Medical Heritage Museum has a mission to preserve and protect our rich medical heritage with special attention given to Lancaster County. The museum strives to do this through education, exhibition, and research in a fun and accessible way! Current exhibits include: one of the largest Ophthalmology collections in the state, Nursing in Lancaster County, Dentistry and it's Specialties, Family Medicine, Pre Modern Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, a 19th Century Pharmacy display, Microscopes, an Art Wing boasting the History of Medicine in Lancaster County through Art as well as a History of Medicine through Art.

The Museum also has a temporary exhibition space showcasing our current exhibit on Pandemics and Prevention as well as a Hands-On space for adults and Children alike!

We invite you to come check us out! We are able to accommodate all ages. We are currently located on the corner of Lemon and Lime street in Lancaster City.
