The Strasburg Country Store & Creamery
Visiting The Strasburg Country Store & Creamery is like going back in time. One step inside the door and you’ll feel yesteryear come alive with the sights, sounds and smells of fresh-baked waffle cones or chocolate being heated in 20-pound batches for our homemade fudge.
Start by taming your hungry monster with your choice of hot and cold sandwiches and soups from our Deli. Our sandwiches are piled high with the freshest of toppings. See our fountain drinks poured from an antique marble soda fountain and, in the summer, watch us fresh- squeeze lemons for your ice-cold lemonade. Then step on up to the Creamery’s ice cream case, which contains our 14 house favorite flavors as well as a rotating selection of seasonal and fun feature flavors. In addition to our creamy ice cream inside one of our fresh-baked waffle cones, it makes yummy shakes and incredible sundaes, too!
Once your tummy is full, you can wander through our Country Store and Candy Kitchen, where we’ll likely be making fudge, peanut brittle or caramel corn, all in an old-fashioned copper kettle. Hopefully you’ll have saved a little bit of room to sample our delicious fudge and other homemade treats. You can always burn a few of those calories by wandering through the store to see our unique and fun gift items.
And if, by chance, you’ve over-indulged and need a nap, the Strasburg Village Inn is right next door, with 10 beautifully appointed rooms that feature a private bathroom and individual temperature control.
We are open seven days a week, from 11 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday and 12 NOON to 8 PM Sunday, with extended hours during the summer season. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t make the Strasburg Country Store & Creamery a part of your Lancaster County visit!
