Amish Fall Farmhouse Experience at Old Windmill Farm
October 4, 2026 to November 6, 2026
Celebrate fall in the heart of Lancaster County with a 90-minute hands-on farmhouse experience at Old Windmill Farm. Guests will help bake fresh bread, churn butter by hand using cream from the farm’s own cows, and press apples into cider with a traditional hand-cranked apple press. Afterward, everyone will sit down together to enjoy the freshly baked bread, homemade butter, and cider.
This is a working farm kitchen experience, not simply a demonstration. It is designed for families, couples, friends, and visitors who want to participate in authentic seasonal traditions. Advance reservations are required. Part of the visit takes place outdoors, so guests should dress for the weather and wear shoes suitable for a working farm.
