Their music takes you back to the roots of bluegrass, honoring legendary pioneers like Flatt & Scruggs, The Stanley Brothers and Bill Monroe. With driving banjo, heartfelt harmonies, and that unmistakable high lonesome sound, they bring this traditional American musical genre to life one song at a time.
Based in Lancaster County, Hammer Creek was formed in 2020 and have played shows throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and surrounding areas, including the Buck Moon Bluegrass Festival, the Appalachian Trail Music Festival and Fort Hunter Days. They have thrice been nominated for the Central Pennsylvania Music Award as Best Bluegrass Band.
