Visiting during the winter months? Try our new Amish Soup/Vegetable Preserving & Fresh Bread activity.

Experience Hands on vegetable soup canning and preserving lead by Amish homemakers using methods passed down generations. Create soups using fresh vegetables from local farms. Includes cutting vegetables into sizable pieces, mixing with spices, flour plus other ingredients. Boiling the jars to ensure sealing and preserving just the way grandmother did it. No tours on Wednesdays (May-August) and Sundays.
