Foodie Fun

The Lancaster VegFest returns on June 1st - 2nd! Enjoy live music and speakers, shop local vendors, try food from all over the country, and so much more!

You can also explore the flavors of Kitchen Kettle Village with their Summer Solstice Soiree Dinner on June 28th. This special summer evening takes place under the twinkling lights of the Village. Can't make the soiree? Swing by for their Splash Into Summer event on June 15th. Enjoy live music, yard games and contests, great shopping, and summer-themed foods.

Head out the weekend after to continue the foodie fun! On June 8th, Lancaster Central Market will be hosting their Strawberry Festival. There will be food stands, kids activities, live music, and yummy strawberries & strawberry goodies. The strawberry fun continues in the County at Amish Farm and House with their Strawberry Festival on June 8th.

Celebrate Pride Month and Juneteenth

This year two Pride events will be happening in the County on June 15th at noon, Lancaster Pride Fest happening downtown at the Lancaster County Convention Center and Lititz Pride Fest happening in Lititz Springs Park on June 29th. During both events, there will be food, entertainment, and local vendors.

  The Raleigh Ringers, under the direction of Penn State alumnus David M. Harris, is an Emmy-nominated, internationally acclaimed concert handbell choir based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The group has been dazzling audiences with unique interpretations of sacred, secular, and popular music, including rock ‘n’ roll tunes that the group has become known for, along with original compositions written just for them.

  The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory… but only to a lucky few. Make sure you take the kiddos to see Thomas the Tank Engine during Day Out with Thomas, June 15th-17th. Adults can also enjoy the railroad on the Wine & Cheese Train featuring wine and cheese pairings from Waltz Vineyards, or with live performances during Le Train Cabaret.

Outdoor Events and Adventures in Lancaster County, PA

Taste of Lititz is back for another year! Enjoy the shops and restaurants along Main Street in Lititz, without any traffic! Main street will be closed to vehicles and open from Water Street to Broad Street for an evening block party feel.

Get outdoors this June with the return of the Red Rose Run on the 1st! This 5-mile race takes you through the city and county park and includes a kids run and more!

Have a unique experience by taking a hot air balloon ride with Lancaster Balloon Rides, ziplining at Refreshing Mountain, or taking an International Food Tour with Unique Lancaster Experiences!

Calling all Goat Yoga participants! Amish Farm and House is offering Goat Yoga classes now through the end of August! Enjoy a full 60 minute yoga class with some cuddle time!

A tour designed for the ice cream lover, Strasburg Scooter Tours is offering their Ice Cream Experience tour this summer. Where you'll scoot out to a local dairy to get a hands-on lesson in making your own ice cream; and taking multiples stops along the way to taste some of the delicious treat. They are also offering their Scootin' for Scoops which is another must try!

Head to the Mount Hope Estate to have an elegant time at their Farm to Fare to enjoy a meal full of fresh-from-the-farm foods, while entertaining hosts provide information about Lancaster County’s rich agricultural history. And right nearby, head to the PA Renaissance Faire grounds to join in on the Celtic Fling, to enjoy traditional pipe bands, modern Celtic rock bands, and everything in between, plus delicious Celtic cuisine, fresh brewed ales, wines, ciders, and more!
