Join in singing carols around a campfire as you sip on a complimentary homemade hot chocolate & even stay overnight in one of the cozy, Christmas-y cabin suites. New this year – the drive thru experience! Support local non-profits by donating what you can to enjoy the twinkling light displays.

Looking for a classic Christmas tradition? Head downtown to enjoy Christmas festivities at Clipper Magazine Stadium, or head to The Star Barn Village on Fridays and Saturdays to enjoy a 2-mile drive with Christmas lights throughout the property.

Grab the kiddos and head over to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane®! Ride coasters and get up-close and personal with Santa’s reindeer! This year, Hersheypark features more than five million lights as holiday tunes fill the park.

Stroll through Bird-in-Hand Village for their two-day Christmas Village celebration. Enjoy a warm seasonal drink as you explore the shops, see live reindeer, assemble a gingerbread house and more!

See over a million twinkling lights at Old Mill Stream Campground holiday light show. A ride on the Wonderland Special train is included in your drive-thru admission so be sure to stop by the Dutch Wonderland Castle afterwards! Visit the gift shop to pick up a souvenir, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and get a photo with Santa!

Holiday Shows

"Visit" the Fulton Theatre from the comfort and safety of your own home. The theatre is proud to present Fulton HD, which will premier "A Fulton Holiday Benefit" on Friday, December 18. The concert will feature over 20 holiday songs accompanied by a 12-piece orchestra. If you can't see the show on the 18th, don't fret! The Holiday Benefit will be available for two-weeks on Viewers are welcome to donate online to help keep the arts alive in Lancaster!

All Things Trains

There’s nothing quite like a good old-fashioned train display, or even riding on an authentic steam train at the Strasburg Rail Road. Strasburg is also known as Traintown USA, and you’re sure to get your fill of holiday events with Santa’s Paradise Express, Christmas Tree Train, and more.

Historic Festivities

LancasterHistory & President James Buchanan’s Wheatland is hosting this year's Yuletide virtually! Join a tour guide, in real-time over Zoom, to traverse the festively decorated halls and rooms of the 1828 mansion.

Indoor Activities

Join an online cooking demonstration with Nancy from the Olde Square Inn. Learn how to make holiday treats like gingerbread houses and Christmas cookies or sign up for appetizers, mocktails and cocktails class. Classes are held every Wednesday at 10am on their Facebook page.

Enjoy holiday activities at the Cartoon Network Hotel! Build your own Candy Kingdom with their gingerbread house decorating in the Bearista Café or paint your own ornament. Book your stay on a week day for discounted admission to the Dutch Wonderland Holiday Lights drive-thru experience. Book during the week and receive one free vehicle admission!

Holiday Shopping

Whether you venture out and brave the cold or prefer the warmer climates of the great indoors, Lancaster has wonderful shopping destinations. Kitchen Kettle Village is home to 42 shops and restaurants that make for a full day of shopping and gift-getting.
