Friday, October 10 - 13, The Susquehanna National Heritage Area is offering special Native Peoples’ Boat Tours aboard the Chief Uncas - a beautifully restored, 113-year-old wooden yacht - over Indigenous Peoples’ Day weekend.
During this one-hour cruise, passengers will learn about the Susquehannock people and other Native tribes who lived along the river in York and Lancaster Counties, as well as the history behind the Chief Uncas itself.
