We welcome you to The Conestoga Restaurant and its American
Revolutionary history. According to the Lancaster County Historical Society, an inn was first constructed on this location in 1741. The present building was built by Abraham Witmer circa 1789, shortly after the American Revolutionary War ended. The name and the owners have changed many times since 1789; however the name “Conestoga” was used most often. It seems most appropriate that the dining room in this historic building reflects this era of our country’s history.

The Conestoga Restaurant is a great place for your group to have
a casual but fine-dining experience in an old fashioned setting. We take pride in the food we serve and strive to make your dining experience a memorable time.

At the Conestoga Restaurant your group can enjoy a hearty
Lancaster County breakfast to jump start their day, or lunch or dinner. With advanced notice, and weather permitting, your group can dine on our spacious deck overlooking the Conestoga River and our beautifully landscaped grounds. Our professional staff has lots of experience in preparing favorite local dishes. The Conestoga Restaurant & Bar is owned and operated by the Mountis family, which will ensure that your group’s experience will be a pleasant one.

Depending on the size of your group, they can order from the
menu, or enjoy a buffet or family-style meal. Our establishment is located on the outskirts of Lancaster City and is only minutes away from the historic Central Market, Tanger Outlet Center, Rockvale Outlets Lancaster, the Sight & Sound Theatres®,
the American Music Theatre, Dutch Wonderland and other major
Lancaster County attractions.
